Treaty Day

Join us for a full day of Treaty Day celebrations in Halifax, beginning with a Mi’kmaw Church Service at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. The day continues with a flag raising and reception at Government House, a Veterans’ Parade of Honour, and the annual Treaty Day Ceremony at Peace and Friendship Park.

The afternoon concludes with the Treaty Day Awards and Dinner, recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements through the Grand Chief Donald Marshall Sr. Elder Awards, Chief Noel Doucette Youth Achievement Awards, education and memorial scholarships, and 300th Anniversary Treaty Commemoration Medals.
